She uses her powerful testimony of brokenness and wholeness, fear and courage to teach, convict, encourage, and uplift people of all backgrounds. Newsome is a firm believer in the power of both the written and spoken word, the necessity of telling our stories, the healing power of the arts, and God's love for all, despite our shortcomings.
